1. AN ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE CAN PREDICT HOW LONG YOU'LL LIVE:-

AI (Artificial Intelligence) has become the big platform in development of today's technology, day by day it is changing the world and it has now also started working with medical science.

With some hard work and research Australian Scientist have built an artificial intelligence system that can predict if  you will die soon by looking at images of your organs. Researchers at University of Adelaide used AI to analyse the medical imaging of 48 patient's chests. The system was able to predict which patients would die over the next five years with about 69% accuracy. Based on deep learning, the AI draws conclusions based on large repositories of data previously fed into it.

"Although for this study only a small sample of patients was used, our research suggests that the computer has learned to recognise the complex imaging appearances of diseases, something that requires extensive training for human experts," said lead author Dr Luke Oakden-Rayner.

The AI could be very helpful to future medical machine learning software as most of the current system can only diagnose diseases and cannot able to predict death and it is also time consuming. But AIs such as the one used by the researchers can determine the health of an organ much faster, helping doctor create detailed treatment plans.

"Instead of focusing on diagnosing diseases, the automated systems can predict medical outcomes in a way that doctors are not trained
to do, by incorporating large volumes of data and detecting subtle patterns," said Oakden-Rayner.

This all can tell how AI can be very useful in future, now it is only predicting the death by observing the human organ but in developing technology it may can tell the exact date of  death of an human being.

2. NOW INTERNET ACCESS IS POSSIBLE ON MOUNT EVEREST:-

Internet has now become the big platform of the human knowledge and it is now getting important to get connected with this platform of knowledge. But what we can do for the high altitude places like MOUNT EVEREST ? Tsering G. Sherpa, CEO of EVEREST LINK, has started the wifi services on mountains of  Nepal, including on Everest. Think if you can WI-FI on Mount Everest, then you can probably get it anywhere on Earth.

But the story of how a company got the internet to Everest is just as interesting. More than 1,600 climbers have had internet access while on Everest. In the region, Everest Link provides more than 200 Wi-Fi hot spots in more than 40 villages. The company connects  34,000 locals and more than 40,000 tourists each year.

"It took us a couple of attempts to get established, beginning with low-cost Wi-fi equipment, and then progressing from 802.11b to g," Sherpa said. "At the moment, we're connected to the Everest base  camp. There, at 5,320 meters altitude, we have a solar-powered cnPilot E500 outdoor Wi-Fi hot spot,".

Everest Link is also starting a distance learning program in some schools since few teachers are available in the remote Himalayas. High-speed connectivity links those schools, as well as every hotel in the region.

3. INDIA AGAIN GOT THE WONDERFUL SUCCESS IN SPACE SCIENCE BY LAUNCHING ITS GIANT 'MONSTER' ROCKET:-

India has always being the creative country of the world and today it has proved it once again: Today, the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO)  successfully lauched its 640 ton GSLV-Mk III ROCKET carrying the GSAT-19 communications satellite on it.

GSLV-Mk III, which The Indian Express recently called a "monster" rocket, certainly lives up to its nickname. The 141 foot (43m) rocket is allegedly as heavy as 200 full-grown Asian elephants, which is an adorable and very useful way to measure thing.

"The GSLV-MKIII D1/GSAT-19 mission takes India closer to the next generation launch vehicle and satellite capability" Indian prime minister Narendra Modi tweeted after the launch. "The nation is proud!"

4. THE STUDY SAYS: PLAYING TWO HOURS OF VIDEO GAMES MAKES YOU MORE EMPLOYABLE:-
Now playing game for too long is not bad at all, now you can get more profit playing games, playing video games for two hours a week could make you more employable, a study has found.

The Glasgow University research suggests that playing games such as Minecraft and Lara Croft can help young people a develop key skills. Matt Barr, a lecturer in Information Studies, said his findings suggests that modern video games can encourage players to think critically and solve problems, the types of qualities that are seen as useful for graduates.

They turned on the study on small scale, which involved 36 undergraduates split into two different groups. The first was a control group while the second group of 16 students were asked to play 8 video games including Borderlands 2, Minecraft and Lara Croft, under controlled conditions, logging 14 hours of play in total over an eight-week period.

The results showed that the group that played the games showed improvements on communication, adaptability and resourcefulness scales, compared to the control group.
Mr Barr said: "Modern video games often require players to be adaptable and resourceful, and finding multiple ways of accomplishing a task. The way games are designed often encourages critical thinking and reflective learning, commonly cited as desirable attributes in graduates."
He added: "My research is perhaps what every parent may or, in the case of some, may not like to hear."

"This work demonstrates that playing commercial video games can have a positive effect on communication ability, adaptability and resourcefulness in adult learners, suggesting that video games may have a role to play in higher education."
"The study also suggests that graduate skills may be improved in a relatively short amount of time, with the gains reported here achieved over a period of eight weeks and representing just 14 hours of game play. Certainly, the results of the randomised  controlled trial described here suggest that the popular discourse around games alleged ill effects should be tempered by considerations of the potential positive outcomes of playing video games."
